Namik Pty Ltd is a family owned earthmoving business operating out of Moora, WA. Owner, Mike McClean, approached Wheatbelt Steel with the ideas of building a workshop that can be used as both a maintenance shed for his equipment and an office. Mike wanted a versatile and long standing structure that he could be sure would still be usable for future generations.
WHEATBELT STEEL’S ANSWER
A 30m x 15m x 5.9m fully enclosed shed with a 6m x 5.9m cantilever. The fully enclosed shed portion for the workshop to protect both the machinery and the worker whilst performing maintenance, the cantilever portion to stand over a service pit for any works needing to be performed outside the main structure.
CONSTRUCTION
Column Construction using a Universal Beam (RSJ), Rafter Construction used Universal Beam (RSJ) and all steelwork Hot Dip Galvanised Columns.
