The client is the New Holland agricultural machinery dealer in Esperance, WA (Staines Esperance) and had requirement for a large shed for storing the new and used machinery which they sell. The shed need to offer full weather protection and clear easy access for the machinery which includes headers, comb fronts, tractors and airseeder units to manoeuvre in and out of safely.
WHEATBELT STEEL’S ANSWER
A 1664 square metre (64m x 26m x 9m) fully enclosed structural steel building with Universal Beam RSJ columns and parallel cord web trusses. The building design included two 16m clearspan door openings to facilitate clear access. Two 6.5m doors were included on the end of the shed along with a personal access door as well.
