Boddington Western Australia

Boddington is a town and shire on the border of the Peel and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia, sitting between Dwellingup and Narrogin.

The town and shire that are modern day Boddington are the traditional lands of the Kaartdijin Noongar people.

The town was first settled by Europeans in the early 1900s, despite being explored thirty or so years earlier.

Today Boddington is a mixed use farming and residential town, with hobby farmers, families and farmlands all cohabiting the shire and town.

Boddington sits on the edge of the steppe and temperate climate regions of the southern areas, and experiences significantly less rainfall than townsites closer to the coast, with an annual rainfall of just under 550mm on average.

With a combination of mining and agriculture, the main agricultural uses of Boddington is for broadacre farming and sheep farming, with a timber district also used to harvest lumber for the south west of the state.

Farm sheds serve a variety of purposes in Western Australia, with such a diverse and strong agricultural industry, and this means a wide range of available farm sheds need to be available for the state’s farmers to choose from and customise.
