Dunsborough is a coastal town and part of the City of Busselton, in the South West Region of Western Australia.
The Noongar people who lived on the Dunsborough coast were known as the Wardandi, and they knew Dunsborough as Quedjinup meaning place of women.
The town was first settled by Europeans in the mid 1800’s and was established as a town in 1879.
Today the town is a popular holiday spot for Western Australian families and visitors to the state alike.
Dunsborough sits in a Mediterranean climate region, with summer temperatures often above 30 degrees and rainfall mostly coming between May and September, with an average rainfall coming in at around 700mm a year.
