Esperance Western Australia
Esperance is a town and shire in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the southern coastline of Western Australia, and is the last major town on the way to the South Australian border.
The Ngadju people lived on the lands between Esperance an Kalgoorlie for as long as 50,0000 years before European settlement, and knew the land as Tjaltjraak country, after the Blue Mallee that grows in the region.
The town gets its name from the French ship Espérance, which sheltered in the area in 1792, and is French for hope. Despite having European history dating back to 1627, it wasn’t settled until 1893.
Today, Esperance is a tourism and fishing town, with a port that serves as a hub for surrounding towns and farming communities, including towns such as Bandy Creek, Condingup, Grass Patch and Salmon Gums.
Esperance is home to a Mediterranean climate, with dry, warm, summers and cool, wetter winters. Despite its coastal location, Esperance doesn’t receive as much rain as Albany or other coastal towns, with an annual average of 615mm of rainfall a year.
Many of the towns and communities around Esperance are used for broadacre farming, and Esperance port exports around two million tonnes of grain a year. The major agricultural industries in the Shire of Esperance are wheat, barley, oats and lupin farming, as well as sheep and cattle grazing.
Farm sheds serve a variety of purposes in Western Australia, with such a diverse and strong agricultural industry, and this means a wide range of available farm sheds need to be available for the state’s farmers to choose from and customise.

These sheds can be customised with roller doors or sliding doors, windows, skylights or ventilation, insulation or open bays, mezzanine floors, offices and more.
