Wheatbelt Steel recently completed a new 72m x 21m x 8.5m workshop a with a 6m front leanto for long-time client AFGRI at their Lake Grace site, replacing the existing structure built in 1978.
With a total under-roof area of 2,180m² and state-of-the-art features, the build includes bulk parts storage and a high-clearance workshop space to accommodate AFGRI’s needs.
This is the first of two sheds we are building for the client in 2025.
Due to the increase in size of both modern machinery and the client’s operation since the original shed was built, the previous 20m x 20m workshop was no longer fit for purpose.
The new facility sets the site up for future growth and greater service capability.
With increased warehousing capacity, AFGRI can receive parts within 24 hours from Melbourne, ensuring quicker service to their clients across the WA Wheatbelt.
This project is also a win for the local economy, with regional contractors involved in construction and new job opportunities created.
